maybe the girl that’s talking in the video has never studyied kinetic Control…but it’s a discipline for physical therapists… trasversus abdominis doesn’t work so well in that excercise, but the excercises for using it are lighter and not for fithness purposes.

sh4dow83….great question, I would say yes, but much more indirectly. To keep your form in proper alignment during a push up, you need to engage your transverse. However, most of the work is done by the chest. Another version of this exercise is the plank which actually requires you to rest on your hands, not your elbows…this engages your upper body more.
huh… the position …
huh… the position of the bridge reminds me a lot of push ups. do push ups work the transverse abdominus as well? even if it’s not as intense as holding that bridge…
