There are lots of ways to train and obviously leg raises work best for you and that is cool. Others will find hanging leg raises to work better. Others normal sit ups. You must do what you beleive to be the best for you. The important thing to remember is the form must be correct which ever one you use. Baz

As you claim to train people every day then u should know that better than any one. I happen to believe that crunches are an excellent way to train the abs but I also know they are not the only way. To say one way is better then another is only an opinion. I believe it is better to have a mind like a parachute. It works best when it is open. Baz

I agree but to prescribe and say this is what you have to do is not quite right. To offer alternatives is always better and much more accepable then to say what you are doing is not that good. That can be a bit insulting. If anyone does an exercise they do not believe will work for them I do not care how good it is it will not get the desired result. I have been working with the mind for many many years and that is really what governs how well you will do in anything. Baz

well yes…but crunches and revers crunches are the way to train abs. what ARNOLD did is not important. look at his new book on bodybuilding…REF..isbn 0-684-84374-9…….he also saays crunches are better.

Thank you very much for you input but there are many ways to train and not all of them suit everyone. I think it is good to try differnent ways and the do what you think is best for you. Arnold used these for many years and won a record 7 titles. He also used other methods. Baz

i like what you do but leg raises and sit ups are not the best ex for Abs. TheAbdominals work in a short range of motion..crunches in variations. I work in a gym and i`m a sport Administrator and fitness trainer. I live and work in Germany but i`m EX British Army.
