It is inaccurate to call a diet a fat burning diet. You will not lose fat from your body by dieting. Only exercise burns fat.

If you want to lose fat, you must exercise. However, there is much for you to find out about fat burning exercise, because not all exercise burns fat.

When you follow an exercise program to lose fat, you need to have a way of eating that enables maximum fat burning to occur.  When you do a fat burning exercise program, you need to eat in a certain way in order to burn fat effectively. That way is called a fat burning diet.  If you do not follow an eating routine that enables the exercise to burn fat, you will lose fat slowly or possibly not at all.  ??????

People Do Lose Weight By Dieting

Dieting has resulted in weight loss for tens of millions of people. However weight loss and fat loss are not the same thing. Fat loss will not occur from dieting without exercise. Weight loss can result from dieting, but not fat loss.

If you apply logic to this, you would expect to lose 1 pound of fat from your body by eating 3,500 fewer calories than you expend. Unfortunately, losing fat is not that simple. You will not lose fat, if you try to do so by diet alone.

You will lose weight by doing that. You will lose weight because of a reduction of water in your body and a loss of muscle mass. You will not have lost fat.?

You may think that you are doing well, because your scales tell you about the weight that you have lost.  However, your mirror is a better indicator of how you are doing than your scales.  When you look in the mirror, you will still see the fat around your tummy, hips, thighs, legs or arms or wherever it was when you decided to “go on a diet”. Whatsmore, you will see that in place of some muscle definition that had been there, there is now loose hanging skin.

To make matters worse, you are likely to regain the weight that you lost when you come off the diet. Because your body needs a certain amount of water to function properly, it restores the amount of water it needs to function, when you come off the diet. Also it is bad for your health to stay long term on a diet that depletes water and muscle mass from your body.

You may say that it is unfair that the body operates in this way. But you need to know how your body operates.

How You Should Eat To Burn Fat

Obviously, one element has to do with what you eat.  But it is also important to pay attention to when you eat and how you eat. You will find alot of written material about what you should eat to achieve fat loss. 

Alot of people say that the recommended diets restrict them too much.  If this is the case for you, just use common sense on what you eat. Nobody has to tell you that you will not lose fat if you regularly meals at fast food restaurants and drink a lot of beer.

As long as you exercise good judgment on your choice of foods to eat, and exercise as well, you will burn fat if you consume fewer calories than you use. If you also keep the quantity of food that you eat down, while following a good exercise regimen, you should burn fat. With that in place, what will help you the most with fat loss is learning when to eat and how to eat.
